What information is collected?

This Privacy Policy covers WOTC's treatment of personally identifiable information that is collected when you are on the site and when you use WOTC's services. It is our policy to only collect information required to provide services and to maintain the site. WOTC collects personally identifiable information when you register for an account, enter it into online forms, or submit an access problems request.

We ask for and collect information from you in different ways. When you create your account you provide certain personally identifying information such as your name, business name, address and telephone numbers and e-mail address. This information is only used to fulfill system requirements and is not released.

We automatically collect IP addresses and Web site usage information when you visit our Web site. This information helps us evaluate how our visitors use and navigate our Web site on an aggregate basis, including the number and frequency of visitors to each Web page, and the length of their visits. Our Website and services are not intended for children under 14 years of age, and no one under age 14 may provide any personal information to us or through the Website or our services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under age 14. If you are under 14, do not use or provide any information on our Website or on or through our services. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 14, we will delete it. We may pass cookies to your computer. Cookies are information files that your web browser places on the hard drive of your computer or temporarily in your computer's memory when you visit the website. Cookies cannot damage user files nor can they read information from a user's hard drive. At WOTC, cookies are used to maintain your session as you move through our pages. When you visit our site, WOTC sets a cookie that works like an identification card. Every time you make a page request from that point on, this "ID Card" cookie is sent back to us. We can then use this "ID Card" to customize the site to your information to best meet your needs.

The WOTC error logging system will collect your username with any error that occurs as a means to help our technical staff understand the error.

How is this information used?

Some of the data that we collect is used in the aggregate to allow us to better understand how our service is used. We do not disclose information about individual visits or share other private information with outside parties without prior authorization from the individual and will not use this data for any commercial purpose. The principal use of information is for the purposes for which you specifically provided the information in WOTC. Information collected is used to create a personal profile, assist users, or to complete online forms.

How is data secured?

To ensure that personally identifiable information collected is protected; WOTC has implemented security measures that include limiting the people who have physical access to our database servers, installing electronic security using TLS 1.2 256-bit encryption and individual password protection to guard against unauthorized access for all accounts. Only the user or third parties that the user has provided a password can access the user's account. Please remember that you play a valuable part in security as well. After you have finished using your account, you should log off and exit your browser so no unauthorized persons can access your account information. WOTC provides links to other websites that may have their own information collection practices. These other websites are governed by their own privacy policies or information collection practices, which may be substantially different from ours. We encourage visitors to other websites to review the privacy policies and information collection practices of those websites. Finally, you should be aware that if you voluntarily disclose personally identifiable information such as Username, e-mail address, or other messages from WOTC, that information can be collected and used by third parties without our knowledge and may result in unsolicited messages from other individuals or third parties. Such activities are beyond our control.

WOTC may amend this policy from time to time. If we make any substantial changes in the way we use your personal information we will notify you by posting a prominent announcement on our pages.
